The Brant Point Light on Nantucket has been in operation ever since it was built in 1746 and has had the same tower since 1901. This beautiful and historic lighthouse is one of the most noticeable sights in all of Nantucket. Today this lighthouse is being honored with its own special pewter ornament made by Dean Pewter in Massachusetts.
This is a hand-made ornament that is made with lead-free pewter. This safe pewter creates a fine silver-like appearance that does not tarnish easily. It also has a good attention to detail as the individual layers and tiers of the tower's construction are easy to see while the walkway to the tower is also detailed.
The ornament has an outside rim that is painted in dark blue just like the ocean. It also has a red roof accent on the building next to the light. There is an engraving at the bottom of the ornament to symbolize that this lighthouse is in Nantucket.
This is accentuated with a red ribbon on the top. You can use this ribbon to easily hang your ornament. The red color particularly mixes in well with the other features around the ornament to create a more attractive look.
