Nantucket lightship baskets were often woven by Nantucketers while stationed on various Lightships located around the island during the 19th century. Door knocker is handcrafted by artist Colby Smith. Smith has been crafting door knockers since 1976. Each door knocker is hand designed and cast from yellow or red brass. They are then hand finished, assembled, and lacquered. All hardware is included.
