The Cutty Shark was built in 1869 and is famous for being one of the last tea clippers ever made. Used as a cargo ship, she was held by British and Portuguese companies throughout her life and has been used as a museum ship since 1954. Today you can order a beautiful wooden model of this amazing ship to display in your home. Whereas the Cutty Shark had a displacement of about 2,100 tons, this model ship only weighs two pounds, thus making her easy to place on any shelf or surface in your home. It is also 12.5 inches high, 12 inches long and three inches wide so you can easily fit her into any spot. This wood-bodied model ship has several canvas sails. There are several posts located all around the ship with many tiers found on a few of these posts. The wooden base features a mix of the deep brown and bluish tones that the Cutty Shark was originally designed with. The design is realistic and intricately designed quite well around all sides and corners of the ship. It is all paired with a beautiful display base that balances the ship and has its own marking label.
